3. Definitions & Interpretation
Consumer: an individual buying products wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business Customer: a customer buying products for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession. Order: your order for products placed on the Site. Dispatch Confirmation Email: the email we send confirming that the products have been dispatched, which forms the Contract.
4. Your agreement
By placing an Order, you agree to these Terms. You must be 18 or older. If you place an Order on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
5. Orders & Acceptance
After you place your Order, we send an acknowledgement email. This is not acceptance. A legally binding contract is formed only when we send your Dispatch Confirmation Email. We may cancel or refuse Orders before acceptance (e.g., stock issues, pricing errors, failed payment, or suspected fraud). For configured or personalised products, you are responsible for the accuracy of your specification.
6. Your right to cancel (Consumers)
Consumers usually have 14 days from the day after delivery to cancel most online purchases. Exceptions include configured/personalised products once processing has begun and sealed software/licences once unsealed, activated or used. If you cancel, you must return products within 14 days of informing us. You may inspect goods as in a shop; deductions may apply for handling beyond what is necessary. Unless goods are faulty or misdescribed, you are responsible for return costs and the goods until we receive them. We refund the price paid plus the cost of standard delivery (not premium/express) within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence of return. Refunds are made to the original payment method. This does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Products
Descriptions appear on the Site and/or product packaging. Images are for illustration; actual products/packaging may vary. If you are a Consumer, products are supplied for domestic and personal use only.
8. Prices & VAT
All prices are in pounds sterling. Consumer browsing displays prices including VAT. Business browsing may display prices excluding VAT with VAT applied at checkout. Delivery charges are shown separately.
9. Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus Bank Transfer for approved B2B accounts only. Payment is taken at checkout. If authorisation fails, we will not accept your Order.
10. Delivery dates and costs
Delivery options and costs are shown during checkout and set out on our Delivery Information page. Some products may dispatch directly from distributors or manufacturers. Any dates given are estimates unless we agree a specific date in writing. We will let you know of delays and are not responsible for delays outside our control.
11. Delivery & Risk
We deliver to the address you provide. Orders may arrive in multiple shipments. Someone over 18 may be required to sign. Please inspect products promptly and report transit damage within 48 hours with photos. Risk passes on delivery.
12. Warranty & Faults
Many products include a manufacturer’s warranty. In addition to statutory rights, we warrant that products will on delivery conform in all material respects to our description, be free from material defects and be of satisfactory quality. If you are a Consumer and a product is faulty within 30 days, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement. After 30 days, repairs/replacements are handled under the relevant warranty and your legal rights.
13. Business Customers (additional terms)
Consumer cancellation rights do not apply to B2B purchases. Returns are accepted for faulty, damaged‑on‑arrival or incorrectly supplied goods. If you have an agreed credit account (not offered at launch), separate credit terms will apply. We may charge a reasonable restocking fee for non‑faulty B2B returns where agreed in advance.
14. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.
15. Our liability to Consumers
Nothing limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be limited by law. We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach. We are not liable for business‑related losses when you purchase as a Consumer.
16. Our liability to Business Customers
Nothing limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability per Order is limited to the price paid (or payable) for the products in that Order. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, contracts, business opportunity, anticipated savings, data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
17. Your information
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including processing outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards (see Privacy Policy).
18. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our products or service, please contact us using the details on our Contact Us page. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve as quickly as possible.
19. Governing law & jurisdiction
If you are a Consumer, these Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or the part of the UK where you live. If you are a Business Customer, these Terms and disputes arising out of them are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
